
Trifactor Can Gio Race Schedule 2025 – Freshman and Kid Distances
Hello to the young athletes and parents of Gopeaks!
In just a few days, our young talents will be competing together at the exciting Trifactor Can Gio 2025 triathlon event. Thorough preparation is key to ensuring the children have a fun, safe competition day and finish with bright smiles.
Let's take a look at the detailed schedule and important notes for the Freshman and Kid categories with Gopeaks!
🗓️ DAY 1: SATURDAY, AUGUST 16 – PREPARATION PHASE
This is the day to familiarize yourself with the track and pick up your race kit. Don't underestimate any step!
Morning: Track survey
Top priority: Directly survey the terrain of the Swimming-Cycling-Running route to clearly visualize the challenges ahead and remember your route, every turn, every U-turn.
Option B: If you can't arrive early, carefully study the Race Course map provided by the organizers, especially the cycling route .
Afternoon: Important procedures
Pick up your race kit between 3 PM and 8:30 PM at Terminal 2 (Expo area).
Attach numbers to the vehicles, helmets, and relay bags.
Send supplies for the run section at T2.
Bicycle parking is available at Terminal 1.
🚨 EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE 🚨
T1 and T2 are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT locations . Participants and athletes need to be aware of this to avoid confusion.

Detailed schedule for Saturday
At Terminal 2 (Expo Area / Finish Line):
Time: 15:00 – 20:00
Activity: Receive a Race Kit. Attach numbers to your bike, helmet, and relay bag.
Mandatory: Bring your Citizen Identity Card (CCCD) for verification.
At Terminal 2 (Gearbox area for runners):
Time: 15:00 – 20:00
Instructions: Leave your running gear here first, then park your car. Leave all your running equipment (running shoes (if using cycling boots), belt with bib attached, helmet, etc.). These items should be placed in the bags provided by the organizers.
At T1 (Bicycle parking area):
Time: 15:00 – 20:00
Activity: Bicycle parking. Bicycles have pre-attached license plates.
Note: Helmets, cycling shoes (if any), goggles, water bottles, etc., will be set up on Sunday morning to ensure safety.
🗓️ DAY 2: SUNDAY, AUGUST 17 – COMPETITION DAY
A day to shine for our little warriors! Keep a cool head and a warm heart.
⏰ 07:25 – 07:40 OPENING OF THE COMPETITION AREA (at T1)
You must be present at least 45 minutes before departure time.
Cycling gear setup: Shoes, helmet, goggles, water bottle, nutrition.
Check your bike: Brakes, tire pressure, and leave the gear in the middle for easier starting.
If athletes do not choose to attach their shoes to the pedals beforehand, they must place their shoes in the bag provided by the organizers and leave it in the designated location.
⏰ SWIMMING STARTING POINT (at T1)
Final check: Timer, swimming cap, swimming goggles.
Departure times : Freshmen 7:45 AM, Kids 8:00 AM
Route: Straight line in and out, 100m (kid) and 200m (Freshman)
Cut-off time (COT): 5 minutes for kids and 10 minutes for freshmen.
➡️ TRANSITION FROM SWIMMING TO CYCLING (at T1)
After you finish swimming, grab your transit bag.
Put your goggles and swimming cap in the bag.
Take the shoes (if sent).
Return the bag to the organizing committee at the designated area.
🚴♂️ BEGIN THE CALCULATING SECTION (from T1 Mount Line)
Note: You MUST only get on your bike and ride AFTER the Mount Line.
➡️ TRANSITION FROM CYCLING TO RUNNING (at T2)
Note: You MUST get off your bike BEFORE the Dismount Line, then walk your bike into Terminal 2.
Remove your helmet and cycling shoes and leave them on the bike.
Grab your running bag and pack everything you need (shoes, bib, helmet, gels, etc.).
Return the bag to the organizing committee.

⚙️ COMPLETE COMPETITION PROCEDURE – SUMMARY
05:00: Wake up and check all belongings.
Breakfast: Prioritize easily digestible carbs and drink water.
Warm up , stretch your joints, jog at varying speeds, then go to the restroom.
07:00 Arrive at Terminal 1 to set up your cycling equipment and perform a final check of your bike.
07:45: Starting point for the swimming portion.
Transition: Swimming ➔ Cycling
Finish swimming, grab your swimming cap and goggles, and run into T1.
Put your hat and glasses in the transit bag.
WEAR A HELMET AND FASTEN THE STRAP BEFORE TOUCHING THE VEHICLE.
Drive your bike out of Terminal 1, cross the new Mount Line before getting in.
Transition: Pedal ➔ Run
Get out of the car BEFORE the DISMOUNT LINE .
Park your bike in the correct spot according to your BIB number.
Mount the motorbike on the rack, take off your helmet.
Grab your running bag and pack the necessary supplies.
Start the run following the designated route.
