Trifactor Can Gio Race Schedule 2025 – Enduro Distance

Hello Gopeaks warriors!

In just a few days, we will be conquering one of the most challenging and exciting triathlons – the Can Gio Trifactor 2025. Thorough preparation is key to an explosive day of competition and a spectacular finish.

Let's take a look at the Trifactor Can Gio 2025 guide with Gopeaks, featuring a detailed schedule and important notes for the Enduro distance!

🗓️ DAY 1: FRIDAY, AUGUST 15 – PREPARATION PHASE

This is a day for getting acquainted, preparing, and recharging. Don't underestimate any step!

Morning: Track survey

  • Top priority: Directly survey the terrain of the Swimming-Cycling-Running route to get a clear picture of the challenges ahead.

  • Option B: If you can't arrive early, carefully study the Race Course map provided by the organizers, especially the cycling route .

Afternoon: Important procedures

  • Get the Race-kit.

  • Bicycle parking is available at the T1 transfer area.

  • Send supplies to the running section at the T2 transfer area.

🚨 EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE 🚨

T1 and T2 are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT locations . Athletes need to be aware of this to avoid confusion.

Detailed schedule for Friday

  • At Terminal 2 (Expo Area / Finish Line):

    • Opening hours: 09:00 – 20:00

    • Activity: Receive a Race Kit.

    • Mandatory: Bring your Citizen Identity Card (CCCD) for verification.

  • At T1 (Bicycle parking area):

    • Time: 14:00 – 20:00

    • Activity: Bicycle parking.

    • Note: Helmets, cycling shoes, goggles, nutrition, etc., will be set up on Saturday morning to ensure safety.

  • At Terminal 2 (Gearbox area for runners):

    • Time: 14:00 – 20:00

    • Activity: Submit all items for the race (shoes, socks, belt bib, hat, gel, sunscreen, etc.). These items should be placed in bags provided by the organizers.


🗓️ DAY 2: SATURDAY, AUGUST 16 – COMPETITION DAY

A day to shine for the warriors! Keep a cool head and a passionate heart.

⏰ 05:00 – 05:30: OPENING OF THE COMPETITION AREA (at T1)

  • You must be present at least 45 minutes before departure time.

  • Cycling gear setup: Shoes, helmet, goggles, water bottle, nutrition.

  • Check your bike: Brakes, tire pressure, and leave the gear in the middle for easier starting.

  • If athletes do not choose to attach their shoes to the pedals beforehand, they must place their shoes in the bag provided by the organizers and leave it in the designated location.

⏰ 05:45: START OF THE SWIMMING PART (at T1)

  • Final check: Timer, swimming cap, swimming goggles.

  • Route: Swim 2250m, triangular course, counter-clockwise.

  • COT (Cut-off time): 1 hour 30 minutes.

➡️ TRANSITION FROM SWIMMING TO CYCLING (at T1)

  • After swimming, collect the bag of supplies provided by the organizers.

  • Put your goggles and swimming cap in the bag.

  • Take the shoes (if sent).

  • Return the bag to the organizing committee at the designated area.

🚴‍♂️ BEGIN THE CALCULATING SECTION (from T1 Mount Line)

  • Note: You MUST only get on your bike and ride AFTER the Mount Line.

CYCLING ROUTE (ENDURO):

  1. Border Guard Post area → Turn left onto Tac Xuat → Turn right onto the opposite lane of Luong Van Nho road → Turn left onto Giong Chay → Turn right onto Duyen Hai road.

  2. Go straight to the Rừng Sác roundabout → Go straight across the Long Giang Xây 2 bridge → Arrive at the Monkey Island intersection.

  3. REPEAT 3 LOOPS: From Monkey Island Junction to the U-turn point before Dan Xay Bridge, then return to Monkey Island Junction.

  4. After lap 3: Go straight back to Duyen Hai road → Turn left onto Giong Chay → Turn right onto Dao Cu → Go straight to the U-turn point in front of the bus station → Enter the Can Gio Commune Cultural and Sports Service Center to finish the cycling part.


➡️ TRANSITION FROM CYCLING TO RUNNING (at T2)

  • Note: You MUST get off your bike BEFORE the Dismount Line, then walk your bike into Terminal 2.

  • Remove your helmet and cycling shoes and leave them on the bike.

  • Grab your running bag and pack everything you need (shoes, bib, helmet, gels, etc.).

  • Return the bag to the organizing committee.

🏃‍♂️ START THE RUN (from Monday)

RUNNING ROUTE (ENDURO):

  • REPEAT 4 LARGE ROUTES: Starting from the Cultural and Sports Center gate → Turn right onto Le Hung Yen Street → Turn left onto Luong Van Nho Street → Turn left onto Giong Chay Street → Turn left onto Dao Cu Street → Turn right onto Le Hung Yen Street → Turn around on Le Hung Yen Street → Turn right onto Dao Cu Street → Turn around on Dao Cu Street before the bus station → Turn right onto Le Hung Yen Street → Return to the Cultural and Sports Center gate to complete one loop.

  • Final lap: Turn right into the Cultural and Sports Center Gate to reach the finish line.

🏁 FINISH LINE (at Finish Line – T2)

  • Find and proudly raise the Gopeaks flag for truly memorable finishing moments!

⚙️ COMPLETE COMPETITION PROCEDURE – SUMMARY

  1. 03:00: Wake up and check all your belongings.

  2. Breakfast: Prioritize easily digestible carbs and drink water.

  3. Start the neuromuscular warm-up exercise added to the Trainingpeaks schedule, then go to the restroom.

  4. 05:00 Arrive at Terminal 1 to set up your cycling equipment and perform a final check of your bike.

  5. 05:45: Starting point for the swimming portion.

  6. Transition: Swimming ➔ Cycling

    • Finish swimming, grab your swimming cap and goggles, and run into T1.

    • Put your hat and glasses in the transit bag.

    • WEAR A HELMET AND FASTEN THE STRAP BEFORE TOUCHING THE VEHICLE.

    • Drive your bike out of Terminal 1, cross the new Mount Line before getting in.

  7. Transition: Pedal ➔ Run

    • Get out of the car BEFORE the DISMOUNT LINE .

    • Park your bike in the correct spot according to your BIB number.

    • Mount the motorbike on the rack, take off your helmet.

    • Grab your running bag and pack the necessary supplies.

    • Start the run following the designated route.
